Data center provisioning automation
Take control of a virtualization-aligned data center network
To meet the demands of more flexible, adaptive, virtualization-centric application environments, customers are tasked with streamlining data center network infrastructure management and provisioning.

With HP Data Center Connection Manager (DCM), customers can reduce complexity, streamline and consolidate management processes, ensure adherence to security policies, and reduce operation costs through automated network provisioning.

Data Center Control - Simplified

Data Center Connection Manager (DCM) provides automated, policy-based provisioning that reduces both application deployment times and management complexity in large scale virtualization deployments. DCM automates the provisioning of network and server resources in the data center by aligning with server-independent, highly-mobile, virtual machine (VM) –enabled application deployment models. To ease compliance and troubleshooting in complex, virtualized environments, DCM creates a centralized repository of state-based policy data. DCM is a standards-based solution that integrates with HP Network Automation Software (formerly Opsware) and can operate in a multi-vendor, heterogeneous environment.

Data center provisioning automation products

ProCurve DCM Controller
A fully-integrated appliance for standalone deployment of DCM in a wide range of data center environments.
Data Center Connection Manager ONE software
DCM ONE Software is hosted on the zl ONE Services Module for the 5400zl and 8200zl series of modular switches. This model allows DCM to be deployed within the network fabric to reduce complexity and streamline infrastructure requirements.
