Alliance Membership & Accreditation

All AllianceONE Networking alliance partners undertake an accreditation process, which involves an analysis of their fit within the AllianceONE program. This process is designed to ensure that the alliance partners meet our requirements for quality, and have an ability to provide product development, delivery and support. Areas covered by the accreditation include HP Business Partner Logo
  • Technology capabilities
  • Documented product development processes
  • Release management and lifecycle processes
  • Internationalization capabilities
  • Security compliance
  • Quality processes
  • Support capabilities and processes
Once a potential alliance partner has completed the accreditation process, and has been invited to join the networking specialization of the AllianceONE program, they can then start using the HP Business Partner logo, and can then start developing applications for the ProCurve ONE Services zl Module.

Application Testing & Certification

Applications within the ecosystem can be implemented on standalone appliances, HP blade systems, or as HP Networking Integrated applications. HP Networking Integrated applications created for the HP ProCurve ONE Services zl Module may offer additional benefits over standalone appliance based solutions.

HP Networking may extend two types of certifications to alliance partner applications or solutions:

HP Networking Integration Tested

HP Networking Integration Tested

An HP Networking Integrated application is tested to load and execute on the ProCurve ONE Services zl Module. The application is put through a series of tests to assure the application doesn't degrade switch security, performance or otherwise damage the switch. Applications are tested for basic functionality which includes validation of the installation and removal process. HP Networking Integration testing is independently administered by AppLabs, a worldwide leader in quality management, testing, and certification solutions.

Once testing is complete, the application is cryptographically signed – allowing the switch to verify that a newly downloaded application hasn't been tampered with.

A certificate demonstrating the application has been tested is available from the alliance partner application page on this website

HP Networking Solution Certified

HP Networking Solution Certified

An application may be awarded a HP Networking Solution Certification after passing a series of solution-level tests, using the application within a typical network deployment. Solution Certification includes testing of the functionality of the application where it interacts with the network. An application may be Solution Certified while running:
  • On the ProCurve ONE Services zl Module
  • As an independent appliance or other equipment connected to the network
An Application Integration Guide will be made available for any application that has been Solution Certified and can be downloaded from the Alliance partner's application page on this website.

Interoperable Solutions from non-AllainceONE members

Additional solutions are identified on these pages as Interoperable Solutions, from companies that are not AllainceONE partners. These solutions may have been tested, certified or field proven for interoperability by the application vendor, or in some cases by HP Networking.
